Brazil is currently living a political, social an ethic disorder. A threat to the democracy, human rights and ecology too.
Against the substantial growth of fascist’s ideology many artists started to develop projects prior to understand and highlight whys, whats and how.
How could this ever be possible in Brazil (again)?
Comics are now one of the most relevant voices in the fight for change.
Psicotrópicos Festival brings to this panel three different perspectives of comic artists about Brazil:
- Tine Fetz: German cartoonist who lived in Brazil during an artistic residency
- José Aguiar: recently moved to Leipzig all the way from Curitiba, Brasil
- Clayton Junior: also from Curitiba, Brasil and living in Berlin for over a decade
