Following a successful run in Brazil the performance Mãeana Sings JG is now embarking on a tour across Europe.
The repertoire blends timeless songs popularized by the Bahian João Gilberto with contemporary hits by the Pernambucan João Gomes. Juazeiro and Petrolina meet on the bridge formed by Mãeana, creating what she calls "pisa nova," a fusion of the piseiro groove with the intention of bossa nova.
The vocals will be accompanied by guitar and percussion, framed by Mãeana's unique aesthetics that transform every stage she graces.
