Hey! 🕊️
Is everyone doing good? Around here, we're even more relaxed after the great evening last Sunday. Anyone who went knows what we're talking about... Gil is and always will be that tropicalist magic, that dive into Brazil that we love. Before Gil, the incredible Alessandra Leão heated up the Tempodrom and the result was an incredible evening. What a privilege! Thank you to everyone who put together this historic event with us.
This is Gil's last tour in this format in Europe. But other big artists are coming and today we want to share two new releases on the Bossa programme: Maria Gadú - who arrives here on 08.12 with the tour of her latest album "Quem Sabe Isso Quer Dizer Amor" (tickets already in the second batch HERE) - and the great Jards Macalé, on March 2nd 2024 on a tour that pays tribute to his very first 1972 release "Farinha do Desprezo" (promo tickets already available HERE).
Until then, there will be lots of party. And already THIS SUNDAY (08.10) there's our classic Roda de Feijoada - special Children's Day, with a Baile Funk Dance class (advance tickets HERE). All the details below.
Hold on tight, we won't stop! 😛

For everyone, our incredible roda de samba, DJs, a samba de gafieira workshop with Carlos Frevo, delicious Brazilian food and more: especially for this edition, we've invited dancer and choreographer Roberto Soli to teach the best moves from the world of baile funk carioca. Check out what he does HERE!
To take part, you need to purchase your ticket online using the "Roda + Baile Funk Dance Class" option.
Remember that birthday people of the month get free entry to the Roda de Feijoada! All you have to do is present an identity document at the entrance to the event.

5. Have you heard of Vier Ecken and its delicious pizzas? This pizzeria is located in Rixdorf-Neukölln, at Böhmische Straße 14, and offers veggie pizzas in the Roman style, using only seasonal products. It's worth checking out!
6. And speaking of pizza, if you enjoy a good wine to go with it, we recommend a visit to 7 Mares, a shop selling marvellous Portuguese wines on Heimstraße 3 in Friedrichshain. "Life is too short to skip Portuguese wine".
7. Are you familiar with MEPB - Música Eletrônica Popular Brasileira? It's a new movement that stands for plural music and diverse mixtures within the Brazilian sound spectrum, such as bass + MPB, baile funk + afrobeat, trap + maracatu etc. For a better understanding, we recommend checking out the work of Ruxell and SHAVOZO.
8. ⚠️ Did you know that you can also buy your tickets for BOSSA FM events at Pop Kultur Kaffee in Kreuzberg and at A Livraria in Mitte? Follow Pop and A Livraria on Instagram.
